Returns Policy

Every care is taken to ensure that the jewellery you have ordered is received in the best condition, however, if an item arrives damaged, has been damaged in transit, or if you are not completely satisfied, you can return the item within 14 days of receiving it for either an exchange or refund.

We are only able to accept returns that are sent with a valid Order Reference No. (this can be found on your invoice or by logging in to your order history).  Please also clearly state if you would like a replacement item or refund.

Please note all refunds will be for the full price paid for the product, but not for the costs of your return postage. A refund will be made to your credit card account or a cheque refund if payment was received by cheque.

A couple of IMPORTANT tips!

We would recommend for your own protection that you send any returns by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery. 

Also, do not address any returns to Isle of Bute Jewellery because it advertises the fact the parcel may contain jewellery and increases the chances of your parcel going missing in the post.

Reasonable care:

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession. When we say 'reasonable', we mean:

* You can try on the jewellery, as you would in a shop, but please don't try on products whilst you are wearing strong perfume. Also do not apply hairspray or hair spritzer whilst wearing the jewellery.
* Any Tags and Earrings cards should be retained
* Before returning any items – ensure that they are well wrapped and will be protected against damage in the post.

*Please note that pierced jewellery is non-refundable – due to hygiene reasons.

If you don't take reasonable care of the products before returning them to us, you may have to compensate us.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights in respect of defective products.
